Reason For The Seasaon

At first we were disappointed to spend yet another warm and sunny Christmas in Santa Barbara, CA.....now we only wish we were back there again. It's snowing a freezing here, while in the 60's out there. We were able to go on a few jogs in the morning, play some beach volleyball, and drive with the windows down. Not only was the weather beautiful, but we were able to see everyone in the family, no exceptions. There were bodies asleep everywhere at night (we luckliy did not have to resort to the kitchen). There were my parents, 16 kids (in-laws included), and 12 grandkids (2 of which are newborns). We had a great time doing what we do best...sit, talk, cook and eat. We love our family and miss them terribly. Family...the real reason we love this season.
