My dad was gracious enough to drive the boys and me back to Colorado from California. Here is one of our many stops along the way - the famous Four Corners monument:
Once in Colorado we decided to meet up with Jonathan in Ouray where we stayed for a few days. here in our hike up to Ice Lakes Basin. This was our third attempt up the hike this with kids this summer and finally made it to the lower basin! My dad and I were panting and stopping quite a bit towards the end due to age, pregnancy and coming from 0 altitude...but we made it!
