Disney World

For our 7th anniversary Jonathan and I had the wonderful opportunity to escape to Disney World, just the two of us. We were away from our kids for almost 5 full days (the longest ever) and was such a treat. Thank you to Mom Osorio, Ohara and Adrienna for watching our boys. They hardly missed us and had an amazing stay! We visited all 4 theme parks (didn't do much in Hollywood studios bc Jonathan was sick). Here are some pics of our trip to Disney:
Epcot
We wished we could have spent a whole day here! This was truly our favorite place, since we are avid international travellers. This place was ginormous and amazingly well constructed. Each country had architecture, vegetation, food, souvenirs, rides/videos and music relating to the specific region. Represented there were such countries as Norway (Vikings ride was fun), Mexico, France, Morocco (the lamb kept Jonathan vomiting in the toilet all night long...but was delicious), Germany (where the boozers remained), Great Britain, US, China, Canada, etc. We had a wonderful time!!!

Magic Kingdom
Typical rides were a must (Pirates, Splash/Thunder/Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Swiss Family Robinson tree house, etc.) but what really impressed me were the few gems, such as Presidents of the United States (which had moving wax sculptures for all past and current presidents to go along with the movie....INCREDIBLE). One again a great day!

Animal Kingdom
This was by far Jonathan's favorite day. We spent the majority of it with my aunt Deena and her 3 teenage kids and had a blast (they just happened to be there that day). Everest was by far our favorite ride (which were were able to ride 3 times), as was the rapids and Bug's Life 3-D show. We also watched incredible Nemo and Lion King live productions. Oh...and we can't forget the African Safari with a real 4x4 truck and real animals that roams the land (lions, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, etc.) It was a great day!

We had a wonderful 3 1/2 days at Disney World! We were so lucky our kids were well taken care of so that we could actually enjoy a vacations just the two of us. It was much needed and a great way to spend out 7th anniversary! Our only regret: not bringing our nice camera.

soooo jealous, looks like soooo much fun!!! The upside of not taking your nice camera is you were able to take pictures of yourselves (if you had it you would've gotten a SERIOUS close-up) ;-)
