For six years now we have made it a priority to get out and enjoy the fall leaf changes wherever we are. When living in the Carolinas for four years we made a trip every October to the mountains to experience the spectacular leaves of every color imaginable. We would make our annual visit to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, partake in the Woolly Worm Festival, shop in the famed General Mast Store, and take gobs of pictures. We were hooked....yes we turned into "leaf peepers". Colorado offers quite a different scenery than to what we were accustomed. Instead of deep reds, oranges and yellows covering every hill one sees, Colorado mountains are dotted with large masses of golden yellow aspen. It is quite different, but still gives the same appeal.....incredible beauty!
