We ventured off to Ridgway State Park (15-20 minutes from our house) for some fun in the snow and yurting. We had never stayed in a yurt before and were surprised to find how warm, comfortable, and sturdy they were. We stayed there for a few days with Jonathan's colleague and his family. The kids had a BLAST playing in the deep snow and making an incredible luge sledding course (with the help of their daddys of course). One night we went to Ouray (another 15 minutes south) for some pizza and night-time dip in the hot springs while snowing. What fun!
