Western Fall

Since Jonathan and I have made it a habit to become "leaf peepers" every October (what locals call everyone who flock to the mountains in the 2-3 week peak leaf changing season) in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the east, we had to see what fall was like out here in Colorado. Just a 45 minute drive and we were in a land of yellow. The abundance of aspen give the hills this gorgeous hue. Quite different than the east, but breathtaking nonetheless.

We actually blew this photo up to 16x20 at Sam's and is now framed and hanging above our dinning table. Great shot, Jonathan!

Oh it's all SO pretty! This really made me miss the mountains, as if I don't miss them enough. Ethan is too cute and getting incredibly HUGE!!
