An intense hike down steep sand hills takes you to Sandfly beach (aptly named for the strong winds that make the sand fly). What a spectacular beach with perfect sand, blue waters, great waves, and sea lions. We didn't see penguins, but they do populate this beach. The hike back up the sand hills holding a baby was....well.....heart-pounding to say the least.
